Wedding in Elgin!

I really had so much fun shooting the wedding of Annene & Werner! The car was a hit this day! I got allot of my inspiration from the car. I normally don't shoot much with the wedding car, but this one really inspired me.I hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed creating them!

I will give some insight into some of the shots and what I like about them, or why I captured it.





I wanted to create that old film look with this shot of the car.






I love this boys reaction as he looked at me photographing him while everyone prayed in the church!



The gorgeous family!











"Mystery!" I captured this because there was a sense of mystery in the emotion and position of the guys - are they mafia or the grooms bodyguards?


Did I mention I loved the car? Another car shot -I love this one!...and the others too :)






They had a great idea where they had a canvas with some photos of them, and the guests could write notes on the canvas.

I am happy to say that I made some history. The latest edition of Wedding Flowers has one of my images on their cover! This is my first cover for an international magazine! It is also the first time that this magazine has ever used an image from a real wedding for their cover. They normally use an image from a shoot they organize. Thank you to the editor Catherine Westwood from Wedding Flowers as well as Christine the wedding coordinator from Wedding Concepts who submitted the wedding!

New York Wedding Photographer 

Wow what a unique wedding held on the beautiful Val De Vie Polo estate! Just imagine watching a live polo game during pre-dinner drinks listening to live jazz and being served the most delicious canapés and drinks, just a pity I wasn't a guest! :)The Top Billing film crew was there as well and it should be on TV soon!
